I am Salla Suokas from Tuusula. I was born on August 28 in 1989. Now I'm studying to become a hairdresser.

When I was 6 years old, I got to know Seija Sivosuo and her Afghans. At that time  Seija's Donna had
puppies and I went to see them. After  that I went to look at the puppies and the adults as often as possible.
Then Seija kept herself one puppy - Nancy ( Scaramis Pin-Up Girl). I used to take care of her when she
was growing up. When Nancy was 3 years old I went to a dog show with Seija.  There I met Liisa and Ami Airas from kennel Scaramis. After a couple of years Seija got a new puppy - Dolly (Scaramis Hello Dolly) who came to her,
and of course to my life as well. When Dolly was 2 years old, I started to go to dog shows actively and Dolly was
the very first Afghan I have ever handled. First I handled  Afghans at the Scaramis breeder's group and after that I started to handle also other Afghans  in the breed ring..

We had talked with Seija about Afghans and she promised me one of  Dolly's puppies.
On the 13th of June 2004 I went with Seija and Liisa to Sweden to breed Dolly with Albin (Int Ch Waiting On A Sunny Day).

On the day when school started Seija called me and told me that Dolly  had already given birth to two puppies.
Luckily the schoolday was short and I was able to go quickly to look at  the puppies!
When we got to Liisa's place all six puppies were born.... two boys  (black/tan and golden) and four girls (2 goldens, black&silver and
silver).
It was love at first sight - almost directly I had made my choice  I would like to have Vanilla.

So Vanilla came home when she was eight weeks old. She lives with Seija (because of allergy in my family)
but fortunately only a few  metres from our house. Vanilla's show career has started very well.

I want to say thank you to Seija, Liisa and Ami - I have learned so
much from you.

Best regards, Salla
